2Face officially changes stage name to 2Baba

2Face Idibia is now officially known as 2Baba. Henceforth, in all published works, 2Baba now replaces Innocent Idibia’s longtime moniker, 2Face. An official statement released by his record label states: ”The entertainment industry has witnessed a new twist today as multi-award winning artiste, 2face Innocent Idibia, officially rebrands himself with a new stage name, 2Baba. The Afro pop star, who was recently inducted into the Headies’ Hall of Fame, first hinted his plan to rebrand during the launch of his sixth studio album in 2014 which gave rise to speculations that he would no longer be known as ‘2Face Idibia’.” Watch 2Baba act alongside top comedians in the movie Headgone .
